THE SHADDOCK COMPANIES

Shaddock Homes was founded by Peter H. Shaddock ("Peter") in 1967 as a home building operation.  In the early 1980's, Peter formed the Shaddock Companies and created two divisions, a home building division and a residential development and land investment division.  Peter’s brother, William C. Shaddock ("Bill"), joined the Shaddock Companies to oversee the residential development and land investment division of the company in 1984.  To complement the residential and development divisions of the company, Bill, an attorney, began a title company, now Capital Title of Texas, in the mid-1980's and in 1993, formed a mortgage company, Willow Bend Mortgage.  Will Shaddock, Bill’s son, recently joined the team in 2006.  He is a graduate of the SMU’s Cox School of Business and is in charge of analyzing new developments and works in the operations department.

At present, the Shaddock Companies builds as Sotherby Homes and Shaddock Homes, develops residential subdivisions as Shaddock Development Company, invests in properties as Shaddock Investments, operates Capital Title of Texas, and the mortgage company is titled Willow Bend Mortgage.  The different entities are owned and operated by different members of the Shaddock family.  In general, each division of the Shaddock Companies has different owners, guarantors and profit centers.  All divisions of the Shaddock Companies operate out of a central office located at 19111 N. Dallas Parkway, Suite 230 Dallas, TX  75287.

Over the years, Shaddock Development Company has developed various subdivisions in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex.  Shaddock Development Company is owned and operated by William C.
